Ive had a dry mouth/tongue/throat for the last 4 days. i thought it was possibly caused by acid reflux, so i started myself on prilosec otc 2 days ago. im also on asmanex, so i thought possible thrush, but no white spots. what can this be?

Few things: Both acid reflux and asmanex can cause similar symptoms. Make sure you are rinsing your mouth well and spitting out after using it. Also some people may sleep with their mouth open if they have sleep apnea, that can cause dry mouth. Stay well hydrated with water. If symptoms progress to involve dry eyes also then will need further evaluation. Have a complete lab panel done to ensure they are good.

Home test: You could be suffering from mouth breathing or sleep apnea. I recommend a dental evaluation and possible home test for sleep apnea. Devices are available to hold jaws together to prevent this condition.
