A member asked:

There are many white bumps at the very back of my tongue ive had for several months, maybe years. occasionally a strep throat type feeling flares up and lasts 2 or 3 days. is this likely oral thrush? could it stem from gut issues? candida?

Almost certainly not thrush and probably not a health problem at all. Everybody has a row of 7-11 "circumvallate papillae" (large taste buds) in a line across the back of the tongue. Perhaps that is what you are noticing. Google it for more information and photos.
