DASH: Weight loss by diet is mostly related to calorie balance, i.e. Intake vs. Consumption. To lose weight, intake has to be less than consumption. Dash (dietary approaches to stop hypertension) diet with lower calorie levels could lead to weight loss, especially if done with increased physical activity.
