Healthy diet: Whether vegetarian or otherwise make sure it is a healthy diet with adequate nutrients. No one diet is superior to the other because on the long run the weightloss is the same. goodluck

Low fat, high fiber.: Generally a vegetarian diet is a low caloric density diet but some foods, such as olives and avocados, have a lot of fat - it's healthy fat but it could still be caloric. Look at your nutrition facts labels - not all vegetarian products are low fat and low calorie. Look for lower calorie foods with a good amount of fiber to control the appetite.
