Manage stress with: E-a-s-e. 1)eliminate the stressor from your life (be assertive; delegate; take breaks ; vacations) 2)alter the impact of the stressor (problem solving; time management; social/group action); 3)shift your outlook (reduce unrealistic expectations, irrational beliefs ; negative self-talk); ; 4) ease your response (relaxation, exercise ; good nutrition). Counseling can help.

Also, recent research indicates that stress may only be harmful if you believe it is harmful. It may be our attitude about stress that is most harmful. Check out the full information at http://www.ted.com/talks/kelly_mcgonigal_how_to_make_stress_your_friend.html. But also check with your physician to rule out non-stress causes.

Many ways: Before you can relieve you anger and stress, you need to learn what's behind them. You can explore this somewhat with close colleagues and friends, and also with therapists. What you find can then inform what you specifically "do" about your situation. In general, some people like vigorous exercise to discharge aggression; others like yoga & meditation. Can do them all but @ different times.

Addressing symptoms.: Atlhough i believe in the use of herbs for many conditions, this is not an issue for herbs. If you are stressed & angry recommend dealing w it directly. One simple tip- count to ten before acting on the urge to impulsively harm someone physically or emotionally. Reduce anger by deep breathing. Breath in deeply & slowly through the nostrils. Hold air in lungs for a 5 count before slowly exhaling >>.

through an open mouth. Repeat until you are calmer. Focus on your breathing not what is making you angry. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is excellent for dealing with anger problems. Getting physical through aerobic activity is an excellent way to help keep anger in check. There are more serene ways to do it – including tai chi, qi gong, acupuncture, massage, progressive muscle relaxation & meditation. Avoid drugs & don't look to alcohol as a solution.
