Gum inflammation: Gums should not bleed unless there is 1)gum inflammation and brushing establish a drainage, 2)trauma to the gum using hard/medium bristle brush, 3)tooth or periodontal abscess 4)underlying gum disease that is needed to be treated. Normal healthy gum should not bleed. Check with your dentist.
