Depends: Is this w a new toothbrush? If so, is it soft? A new or hard brush can cause bleeding. If not, then you may have gingevitis or more advanced perio disease. Also, hormonal changes can cause this. If this continues, a visit to the dentist is needed!

See DDS: What is your oral hygiene regimen? Do you brush at a 45 degree angle and use dental floss correctly? Use a tongue scraper to remove any bacteria on your tongue on a daily basis. See your DDS and have an evaluation and go from there.
