It depends.: You can try to fall back asleep, but if you are still awake after several minutes try waking up and walking around the house, drinking warm milk or doing a little light housework or other work before returning to sleep. If you go to bed one hour earlier, you will wake up an hour earlier, b/c your internal clock has been programmed to wake up after a certain amount of sleep.
