KINDS of carbs: Most resources suggest between 45% - 65% of foods to be carbohydrates, but that doesn't mean all bread! you need to be smart about the type of carbs you eat also. Vegetables and fruits are carbohydrates, and if your blood sugar is "a little bit on higher side" you need to emphasize veggies and complex (not simple like sugar) carbohydrates.
