Backwards: As braces are much better at producing finishing detail than clear aligners, better to do the braces last. Combined approach means longer overall time in treatment wind therefore higher cost.

Braces>Clear Aligner: The simple answer is "maybe". Many cases can start with fixed orthodontic braces. When the malocclusion is corrected enough that clear aligners can "take you home" the answer could be yes. Understand, there is a charge for that. Always ask your orthodontic specialist if that is what you desire.
