Be patient: It is very common for the speech to be affected during active Invisalign treatment. Pronouncing words that begin with the letter "S is the most common complaint. It will improve as the teeth move into alignment. Always make sure that your dentist is aware so that he/she can give you the right solution. Good luck.

How sad: You can't fix this if teeth have been moved inappropriately. Hopefully you are seeing an Orthodontic Specialist who can properly correct your malposed teeth/jaws. If not, find one.

Practice, practice: typically with invisalign your tongue needs to adjust and train yourself to work with the invisalign in. I am a bit concerned when you say it occurs with the invislaign out-- given this I would go consult with your orthodontist about this

Lisp?: The lisp you are speaking about is probably that your tongue is not used to the placement of the clear aligner trays. Normally, a patient's tongue does get used to the trays and speech returns to normal.
