Pituitary: There are many normal physiologic conditions that enlarge the pituitary. Pregnancy, lactation, hypothyroidism. Presumably your sister had a ct or mri. Did it show a tumor? Just enlargement? It would be important to have measurements of pituitary hormones to determine what the MRI means. Prolactin, tsh, ft4. Is she menstruating? Normal menses suggest normal pituitary.
