No, but serious : Anyway. Benign pituitary tumors do not turn malignant, but even benign tumors of the pituitary are serious as these can affect the vision and other endocrine organs.

Pituitary adenoma: A benign growth in pituitary is fairly common. If it grows, it could lead to decreased pituitary function. It could also secrete hormones or stimulate other glands. Almost never is there malignant degeneration.
