Sleep: Changes in adolescence makes teens feel more comfortable staying up late and sleeping in, but school schedules mean that many teens don;t get enough sleep. Without 8.5 to 9.5 hours per night, teens often get irritable and have trouble paying attention. Look at the time you have to get up to go to school, then plan on going to bed ~ 9 hours before.
