No: Pantoprazole and other proton-pump inhibitors will not treat hangovers. Tums (calcium carbonate) is also not good for hangovers but does help a little with the nausea associated with hangovers. The best treatment for hangovers is not to get so drunk in the first place and to drink clear non-sugary fluids, proteins, and b vitamins to help with symptoms. Time is the only cure.
