Is it up to the dentist to, send a month old copy of full mouth x-ray to new dentist from previous dentist even if i sign a permission to release?

varies: These are your xrays..Ifyou signed release they can be transferred to the dentist you want to ..Some offices do charge a fee ..Need to check with your dentist..

Yes: You are entitled to a copy of your medical/dental records, upon request. There may be a small fee for making those copies. The original charting and films belong to your doctor, since by law they are required to maintain them for a specific number of years after your last visit, which varies from state to state.
