Bacteria: The most common bacteria found in infections of orthopedic implants are staph and strep species.  Your surgeon will need to do a workup to determine if there is in fact an infection and if so, what the specific bacteria is.  Crps would be considered as a diagnosis only after definite pathology (such as infection or failure of the repair) has been ruled out.

i had left foot surgery 8 months ago(navicular area). my foot has been hurting a lot also causing ankle pain. can the mitek bone anchor be removed?

Probably not: The simple answer is yes, a bone anchor can be removed, but the real answer is that the bone anchor was placed there for a reason (probably to hold a ligament or tendon in place), so unless the injured structure has healed, you wouldn't want to remove the anchor.  Infection must always be considered as a possible cause of pain long after surgery, or failure of the repair - do go see your surgeon.

RA s/p foot surgery: The numbness can be from nerve irritation, nerve effects due to surgery as you cut and may cut some nerves when you replace bone or due to limited blood supply, The coldness can be due to blood supply interruption but that is more concerning as you need adequate supply. Call l the doctor today or go to ER , they can do dopplers and check blood supply, if toes are purple /black that is a emergency

i had foot surgery on my left foot to fix my flat foot and the doctor said that they fused my bone and put a screw. when can i walk? physical therapy?

Ask your doc: Surgeon knows best as to when u  can walk on your reconstructed foot depending on the type of repair and fusion done.

IN general it is 6-10 weeks before you can walk on  the foot and usually start off in a short leg boot  with crutches and progressive weight bearing. Guided by the X-rays that are used to determine when the bones are fused

i ve got swelling in knee same foot had surgery. i've got appt. w/my reg. dr. 18th, foot dr. 27th. or see my bone dr?  will reg. dr. (int. med) work?

Swelling: You do have several choices. Yes, regular doc can help , too or you could move podiatry appointment up and if the swelling is not related he can help get a referral to the appropriate doc probably faster than you can get an appointment yourself.   Or stick with your plan.

Depends...: Kind of a broad question.  There are different types of surgical procedures.  Toenail procedures or skin biopsies have little to no down time.  Bunions can vary from 6-8 weeks recuperation and more extensive rearfoot surgery may take up to months.  Need to restore proper alignment in the joint, restore proper mechanics in the foot, and reduce pain symptoms.  Bonus aesthetically pleasing.
