Depends...: Kind of a broad question. There are different types of surgical procedures. Toenail procedures or skin biopsies have little to no down time. Bunions can vary from 6-8 weeks recuperation and more extensive rearfoot surgery may take up to months. Need to restore proper alignment in the joint, restore proper mechanics in the foot, and reduce pain symptoms. Bonus aesthetically pleasing.

Recovery: for foot surgery is based on the type of diagnosis. If it is a foot or ankle reconstruction or repairing any bone or tendon structure, it will take at least 6-10 weeks and sometimes longer.
