MRI arthrogram
An MRI arthrogram is an MRI of a joint after a contrast agent has been injected into the joint. The MRI is usually performed before and after the dye has been injected. Injecting the contrast agent into the joint often provides additional information not found on a regular study. It may show small tears or holes that would be missed on a regular study.
