Symptoms: Increasing pain, redness and swelling around the shoulder and fever are the symptoms of infection from an arthrogram. Transient pain without fever or redness is usually not infection. If the above symptoms are present for more than a day or two, then go back to your doctor or go to an urgent care center for evaluation and treatment. Do not try to tough it out. It is better to be cautious.
