Yes it dose: The arthrogram is a test done by injecting dye into the wrist joint it dose heart like a shot. When patient is claustrophobic you 2 possible way. 1- use MRI machine which is open and they are avilaible every were. 2- the doctor could give heavy sedation before the test.

A little: I assume this is a MRI of the wrist. The MRI is painless. The arthrogram will require a very small needle to be place into the wrist joint. They will use Lidocaine to numb the skin before they place the needle. It will sting for about 10 seconds.
