Stroke recovery
Recovering from stroke usually involves a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and nutritionists. Many patients will need some sort of rehabilitation after leaving the hospital in a skilled nursing facility or stroke rehab center before they are safe to return home.
