Most of the time, Covid-19 related deadly complications only happen to patients with severe disease who are older than 60 years old with significant underlying medical conditions (comorbidities). You are young with mild symptoms so you should be fine, do not worry much. In 3-5 more days, you will completely recover. Take care!

I wouldn’t get too worked up over the testing positive for COVID. Everyone reacts differently, so I can’t say for certain whether you will experience what you have described. Be in close contact with your Physician should your symptoms change.

There are risks for adverse cardiovascular events such as cardiac arrest, stroke and blood clots. There are even similar risks for adverse cardiac events with getting the Flu. It is just higher for Covid than the Flu. The difference for these events compared to the Flu is about 1.5 per 1000 people. So the risk is there, but low. Hope that information helps you be less axious.
