Pretty bad... get PT: Studies have shown that the sooner after a stroke that you start physical therapy, the better, more, & faster you recover. Waiting a month after a stroke allows muscles to weaken & waste away, so in general, doctors recommend starting range of motion within 1 week, & intense physical therapy within about 2 weeks after a stroke. Talk to your doctor / physiatrist about your condition.
