Undescended testicle repair
Repair consists of a small inguinal incision, dissection of the spermatic cord from the surrounding attachments, ligation of a hernia if one is present and placement of the testicle in the scrotum in such a manner as to prevent its retraction. A small second incision is placed over the scrotum. Exceptions occur in up to 10% of the cases from the above description.
