Not at scrotal base: An undescended does not reach base of scrotum & can be high in the scrotum, groin, next to scroyum, above penis or non palpable in the inguinal canal or abdomen. Usually free of symptoms or occasional vague feeling of groin discomfort. Groin swelling from companion inguinal hernia can occur. Undescended are at increased risk of torsion which would result in severe and acute groin pain.
