Undescended testicles should be brought down by what age?

6 - 12 months: Recommended age to bring down testicles has gradually descended with time. We know testicle undescended at age 6-months in a previously full-term infant will not descend on its own. Also early pathological changes have been found in in undescended testes by age 1-year, hence rational for early orchidopexy surgery. Ex premature babies can wait till age 1-year.False 2 believe in late descent.
