Define cure: To maintain normal function the undescended testis is usually located & brought down surgically if possible by a year of age. Delays diminish the chance that it will make normal sperm. The testis must first be found if present as it can loose blood supply & disappear. If abdominal, it may not have blood vessels long enough to let it be brought down. Your urologist can provide you with more detail.
