Yes, once you are infected, the TPA stays positive indefinitely, treated or not. We call that positive test "serum scar" because the scar will not disappear.

2 pills of Azithro. do not prevent syphilis. You seem not to have cotracted syphylis if the tests are neg. The test will not be positive after treatment
