No: Taking azithromycin and having a false negative syphilis EIA test are two unrelated events, meaning one should not cause the other. If they happen together, that can be thought of as just a coincidence. A syphilis EIA test is used to detect a person's antibodies to syphilis, and is negative if such antibodies are not found.
