I'm 86 days sober from years of alcohol abuse. i'm a 39yo male who's never had issues with sex or erectile disfunction. now after sobriety i'm having difficulties. what can fix this? or does it take time?

You should let us know your symptoms. In general, moderate alcohol may boost libido and alcohol use is associated with enhanced mood and losing inhibitions; something that could precede sexual activity. However, alcoholism has long-term bad effects for sexual life besides the overall health so it is great you are now sober. Just give it sometimes then see a urologist if problem persists.

This is not related to your being sober. What you did is a good thing so keep it up. have a good general checkup and with a suitable partner you will be fine. Good luck.
