You have made an excellent decision, and do hope you are successful in your new endeavors. Not unique to have challenges transforming your life. Do not seek an increase in energy through medications. Instead, engage in regular aerobic exercise, have your doctor do a thorough checkup, and engage in cognitive-behavioral therapy. Be patient and go from day to day. It will improve.

He/she can help you sort out your energy level and feelings. One POSSIBILITY is that your past drinking was masking a low-level depression that can now be dealt with. Peace and good health.
