See dermatologist: This is not so uncommon in females and diabetics and those who might be somewhat overweight. Suggest you try oatmeal baths, available in powder form otc at the pharmacy along with loose fitting clothes. There is also zeasorb powder that may be applied to the affected area after bathing that might absorb some of the sweat and lessen the itching. See dermatologist.

Needs workup: Boy, it sounds like you've have a lot of issues that have come up. I would see your physician this week. Many things will need to be looked into including infection, inflammatory conditions (i.e. Autoimmune diseases), and malignancies. Please get help and good luck.

Cause of wheezing: Usually this is viral induced in a 2 year old, especially if other children are sick at his daycare. He may benefit from nebulized saline, supplemental oxegen and a trial of steroids. Antibiotics usually not needed with wheezing unless cxr shows consolidation. Get all smokers out of the house till child turns 18.

Go with it: I can't beat what a doc thinks who has actually examined you. Sounds good. Could be a viral infection (cold) if symptoms have only been a few days.
