Intense itching under breasts and groin. scratching can rub a lot of the skin off leaving a red and raw area that burns but still itchy. no pus. i do sweat a lot. should i try anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, or hydrocortisone cream?

See dermatologist: This is not so uncommon in females and diabetics and those who might be somewhat overweight. Suggest you try oatmeal baths, available in powder form otc at the pharmacy along with loose fitting clothes. There is also zeasorb powder that may be applied to the affected area after bathing that might absorb some of the sweat and lessen the itching. See dermatologist.
