Probably not: HPV causes several cancers (cervix, anus, genital skin, throat) but rarely others. A few lung cancers, especially in nonsmokers, have HPV DNA in tumor cells. However, it is not known if HPV is the actual cause of these cancers. If HPV is associated at all with lung cancer, it is believed to be rare; and avoiding HPV (or vaccination) probably doesn't help prevent lung cancer.
