Resistant yeast: A few percent of yeast strains are resistant to fluconazole (Diflucan) and other "azole" drugs. Alternate treatments are availabble (e.g. nystatin, flucytosine, caspofungin, boric acid). Contact your doctor; she might want to see you to confirm yeast is still the main problem, or perhaps prescribe one of the alternate treatments. Good luck!
