LSIL : Lsil does not mean cancer. You may have a non cancer causing (low risk) hpv that causes these changes.

Low Grade SIL: Cancer assoc w low grade squamous intraepithelial neoplasia is uncommon but risk is increased so heightened screening is warranted. Lsil is >90% associated w human papilloma virus. Not all reflex tests are built the same & having a false negative is possible. That said, dysplasia can occur spontaneously but is rare. Up until 26 you are eligible to receive the hpv vaccine which i recommend.
