Most likely Cyst: Cancer much less likely. As you know nothing in life is 100%. The most likely diagnosis based on what is described is cyst. Depending on simple vs. Complex cyst it needs to be followed for a couple of your cycles till resolves. Cancer is much less likely.

No, but not likely: Cysts are very common and almost always benign. No imaging test can completely exclude cancer but if the ultrasound test showed that the cyst was a simple cyst than nothing more needs to be done about it and will go away on its own. If the ultrasound cannot say it is a simple cyst it is still likely benign but will have to evaluated further.

Pain: No imaging tests can definitively tell you whether or not you have ovarian cancer. The only way to determine whether or not you have ovarian cancer is to remove abnormal tissue at the time of surgery. Your risk will be assessed by your gynecologist by looking at the characteristics of your ovary, your family history, your tumor markers, and other information.
