External ear : Infection is possibility, so show it to a doctor. I don't think it will go away on its own.

Otitis externa?: Your symptoms suggest an infection in the ear canal. You do not mention ear drainage. See a doctor and the ear canal can be cleaned out and treated with a topical antibiotics.
