It's not: Ideal but should not stop you if you want another child. Talk to your OB doc but there are safe treatments ad preventions such as lovenox (enoxaparin). Good luck.

Take precautions.: It should certainly be ok to have another pregnancy assuming that you are not hypercoagulable and high risk for clots. You should take several precautions including obtaining a base line venous ultrasound to see the status of your veins. You should also wear support hose during your pregnancy and you should also see a vein specialist to follow you along with your obstetrician.
