Spider veins: Spider veins are small superficial varicose veins. They are generally not linked to deep venous thrombosis, which involves the deep venous system of the lower legs.

Spider veins: Spider veins are not at increased risk to develop DVT during pregnancy. Spider veins are only superficial tiny veins and have no relationship to ones ability to develop DVT.
