Talk with OB: I am familiar with your story from prior posts. I think that this is not ideal to only take your anticoagulant on an intermittent basis. Given our concerns about warfarin in early pregnancy, . As i stated before, this should be discussed with a high risk OB doctor (called mfm).

NO!: You are playing with danger by changing your Coumadin (warfarin) and yes DVT can form in a short time. Each day airline passengers flying from the us to europe exit the air craft with DVT formed during flight. Some require hospitalization. Coumadin (warfarin) requires certain range levels to be effective; some patients require days of therapy to attain therapeutic levels. Discuss with your physician before changes.
