I often ride bike intensely home ~1 hr before bed & eat a snack, yet i usually wake up 2-3 hours into sleep (3-5 am)& eat chocolate, nuts, & fruit while in a semi-awake state. what could be the issue?

Exercise: You should usually not exercise within 4 hours of falling asleep, you are increasing your body metabolism and preventing sleep.
