Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) may take the edge off. 50 mg taken 1-2 hours before you go to sleep can help many. The trick is to not eat dark chocolate or drink caffeinated beverages after noon.

Chocolate has a lot less caffeine than many other foods and beverages, like coffee. https://www.cspinet.org/caffeine-chart You'd probably have to eat a lot of the trail mix to have enough caffeine to interfere with sleep (but some people are more sensitive to it than others). Caffeine is gone from your system within a day or two, so usually no interference with more than one night's sleep.
