Fear of fear is norm: When you accomplish that, you will have gone a long way to preventing the panic attacks themselves. It's ironic that "fear of fear" is a big component of what a panic attack is, but that is the case. So, get started on a comprehensive approach to managing your anxiety, with the help of an expert mental health physician. As you get confidence that you can overcome the attack, you won't fear it.
