No: Comfort is the main focus. You want to be in a position where your muscles and mind can relax to help you fall off to sleep. Some medical problems or conditions can benefit from sleeping in a certain position, but if you're healthy then just make yourself cozy and comfortable!

Fewer people have: Sleep breathing disorders laying on their sides than people who sleep on their backs. If you have shoulder pain it is much harder to sleep on your side.
