Alternate positions: With the kid on its back, alternate the direction of the feet every other rest period, so baby must make an effort to look for you by turning the head a different way every time. If the feet point the same direction every time, babies look away from the back wall and toward someone coming, and it becomes a habit allowing the change in shape.
