Low clearance: In our lab, a gallbladder ejection fraction below 35% indicates some form of biliary dyskinesia. This means it does not clear or empty as well as it should when stimulated. This can be caused by a number of different issues which need to be considered along with the symptoms to decide if surgery may be helpful.

Gb disease: 9% gall bladder ejection fraction is low. Normal usually about 35%.If have symptoms of biliary pain this value usually means gall bladder disease. As long as not on pain medications during or just prior to test, not fasting for prolonged time, not eating before test, then usually results accurate.
