Had a hida scan w cck today and had a lot of stomach pain/bloating/tightness and nausea. does this mean a problem w my gallbladder?

Not necessarily: Need to wait to find out the results of the gallbladder function. It is normal to feel gas discomfort or cramping with the cck injection, especially if the injection is done quickly.

Not necessarily: The hida scan is not always abnormal with gall bladder disease. Fact that symptoms were mimicked by the test may mean biliary system issue. Gall bladder function and ejection fraction help in deciding whether gb contributing to symptoms. Dyskinesia. Pancreas, stomach.Esophagus et al. Can contribute these symptoms.
