Stomach/esophagus : You may want to start with bread and bland foods with lots of fluids. You may want to start on acid producing inhibitors after you see a physician . Acid burns to the stomach and esophagus can cause scarring.

Inflammed esophagus: You seem to describe gerd (acid reflux). To alleviate gerd, you should avoid eating large meals at once, fatty/spicy food, citrus fruits, tomatoes, garlic, onion, minty gum, chocolate, smoking, alcohol. Avoid eating or drinking within 3 hours of lying down.
