Bio
Dr. Tri Huynh went to the University of
South Florida for his undergraduate studies and achieved a degree in
Mathematics. He subsequently went to the Philadelphia College of
Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2004 for his medical degree.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His
fellowship training for gastroenterology was at Largo Medical Center,
affiliated with The VA Bay Pines Medical Health Systems. He spent
time in Vanderbilt University Medical Center for liver
transplantation.
For the past three years, Dr. Huynh
practiced gastroenterology and hepatology in Leesburg and The
Villages. He is well respected by his peers and colleagues. His
patients love him since he treats them with the utmost care and very
conscientious for each of their medical needs. He has special
interest in advanced procedures involving pancreaticobiliary
disorders/malignancies, Barrett's esophagus, and intestinal stent
placement. Furthermore, he is fully committed in screening and
prevention of colorectal cancer. In addition to numerous other
professional honors and distinctions, he has been elected a Fellow of
the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American
College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Tri Huynh's clinical expertise
includes gastrointestinal bleed, gastrointestinal cancer, esophageal
diseases, colorectal cancer screening, liver diseases (liver
cirrhosis and its complications, autoimmune liver disease, hereditary
liver diseases, viral hepatitis, and others), GERD, inflammatory
bowel diseases, pancreaticobiliary disorders/malignancies, and GI
dysfunctions. He is fellowship-trained in gastrointestinal
procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic
esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, small bowel
enteroscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, capsule endoscopy,
percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), esophageal manometry,
esophageal pH testing, hemorrhoidal banding, and breath testing. In
addition, he has expertise in performing advanced therapeutic
procedures including radiofrequency ablation (RFA), complex stricture
dilations, and intestinal stent placement.
